"Three hundred thirty three long years from Spain, Forty years with the Americans and three to fours years enslaved by the Japanese soldiers and yet our fore fathers brought us today peace and freedom, a new nation, a new hope, just like a new Earth with a perfect blue sky and  lushes of green grass enveloping the whole peaceful island of the archipelago. This is the day we stand on our own, we lived by ourselves. The greatest gift. The Independence! Given us by our heroes withstanding all the conqueror's mighty force to bring his people flee from the dark colonizations from the past."

"For all the rich history written in the books I can only imagine how this heroes fought for our future, the agony of war, the pain and sacrifices. I stand straight and salute my grand fathers and give them all my respect for the bravery they have shown to fight for their countrymen. From Jose Rizal's silent but powerful pen of war that brings sovereignty, from Andres Bonifacio's gulok and The Katipunan's itak that paints the history bloody red, for the ladies of war Gregoria de Jesus and Melchora Aquino, and for the leader of Independence General Emilio Aguinaldo who raised the flagship of the Philippines in Kawit, Cavite signifying on that day we all achieved freedom."

"Now it is down to us, the future compatriots, the people of the nation rather if we can sustain that Great Independence leave us by our heroes. We honor the dead from their graves, now you may rest in the battlefield and the memories of war, and sleep now in the fields of Heavens. The future now has a great task to keep the oneness of the people, under one God, and that Government of the people by the people, for the people shall not vanish from the Earth."
