Barrio Fiesta



'Sino ba naman ang ayaw pumunta sa isang Pistahan.'
Noong nakaraang post ay namaalam na ko kay Summer, pero siya ayaw pang bumitaw pilit pa ring kumakapit ang kanyang init sa aking katawan, at ramdam ko pa rin ang lagkit na kumakapit sa aking kasingit-singitan. Hindi ko mawari kung kelan siya lilisan at kailan niya ako tatantanan.

Pero alam ko rin naman na hindi na rin magtatagal si Summer at pagkalipas pa ng mga ilang araw ang magpapa-wet naman ng aking katawan ay sina Jolina, Ising, Lukring, Urduja, Chedeng, Ruby, Maring at ang pinakamatindi magpa-wet na may kasamang rumaragasang blow (hangin) ay yung mga katulad ni Yolanda. Pero kahit pa gaano yan kalakas na mga bagyo ay walang makakatigil, makakahadlang sa pinakasentro ng ating usapin ngayong tanghali ng Miyerkules. 

Pagkatapos ng Mayo, at pagpasok ng Hunyo ito ang isa sa mga pinakakaabangan kong mga aktibidades sa buhay. Uupo lang naman ako dito at magaantay ng mga papel, mga papel ng paanyaya, o di kaya ay mga paanyayang berbal ng aking mga kaibigan, friends of friends at mga public friends na hindi gaanong kakilala (parang Facebook lang).

Sino ba naman ang may ayaw pumunta sa isang pistahan/. Sino ba ang ayaw malangisan ang mga bibig ng taba  ng baboy? Sino ang may sabing naghihirap ang ating bansa? Sino?!?

Kahit hindi buwan ng Mayo marami pa ring pista sa ating bayan. Wala man  tayong pera mangungutang at mangungutang talaga tayo mairaos lang ang pista. Pasalamatan na tin ang mga Kastila. Kung hindi nila dito dinala ang Kristiyanismo malamang boring ang ating mga araw.

At kamakailan lamang nahila na naman ako sa isang malayo at liblib na pistahan. Tuwang tuwa na naman ako pero hindi nagpapahalata. May ilang dahilan kasi ako kung bakit gusto ko ang mga pistahan:

1. MARAMING PAGKAIN.

Siguraduhing gutom bago pumunta sa isang pistahan.
Kaya nga pista ang tawag diba. Ang daming masasarap na pagkain. At ang sarap ding tingnan ang mga kaharap mong nangingintaban ang mga bibig at di magkandaugaga sa mga kinakain.

2. WALANG UPUAN.

Sa sobrang dami ng taong gustong makalibre din ng kain e mahihirapan ka talagang maka-puwesto. Yun nga ang gusto ko e. Kapag nakatayo ka kumain, mas mabilis ka matutunawan. At kapag mabilis ka matunawan, apter payb minutes e pwede ka na uli kumain. O lumipat sa kabilang bahay.

3. ESPESYAL ANG TRATO SA'YO.

Hindi mo na kailangan sumayaw kasama ang Abstract dancers na merong lifting para lang mapansin. Kahit hindi mo kilala ang may-ari ng bahay e parang magkababata lang kayo na minsang naglaro sa mga pilapil ng palayan dahil nasa pintuan ka pa lang e bibigyan ka na ng plato. Kulang na lang lagyan ka ng place mat at bib sa leeg. At para mas masaya ang kainan eh may mga nagigitara pang naghahabaan ang bigote, parang lumang Katipunero/Mexicano ang OOTD at kakantahan kayo ng mga kantang pang Trio Los Panchos. Mga tropa ata ito ni Dora the Explorer e.

4. At eto talaga ang nagpapasaya at nagpapataba ng aking puso kaya't balik ng balik ang aking mga paa sa pistahan....


"Bago umuwi meron kang goodie bag----
este binalot na pala he he. Yun lang.
kaya....Maraming salamat Espanya!"

Wala akong tinatanggihang imbitasyon sa mga pista. Sabi nga ng aking Super Nanay wala daw akong absent sa mga pistahan a. Parang may listahan daw ako ng mga pista ng mga Santo sa buong Pilipinas.

Sabi ko, oo. Napa-nganga na lang ang aking Ina.
